Children's Policy: There is no charge for children under the age of 17 when sharing same room with parents.
Deposit: Deposit is not required for individual reservations upon making reservations unless specifically stated prior. During Special Event Periods, to reserve certain offers or over blackout dates, full prepayment might be charged at the time of booking, no cancel, no changes allowed. Minimum night requirements may also apply.

Guarantee: A valid credit card is required during check-in process. A credit hold of $150 per room per day, plus room rate, taxes, and resort fee will be processed for incidentals. Credit holds are released after account is paid in full and you have checked out. Credit hold releases are handled by your credit card company and the time frame varies.
Microwaves: The use of microwaves in the rooms is not permitted.
Guest Room Reservation Limit: A maximum of 9 rooms per night for individual reservations. For groups requiring 10 rooms or more per night, please contact our group sales department at 787-888-6282.
Parking: For guests staying at the resort, our self-parking is $18.00 per day and our valet parking option is $25.00 per day (Taxes included). For all other visitors, our self-parking is $30 per day and valet options will charge $5 for the first hour with an additional $3 charged per hour (Taxes included).
Dog Policy: Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort allows guest to bring up to two dogs per room, with a weight limit of 35 pounds per dog. A non-refundable nightly fee of $75 plus tax for the first dog and $50 plus tax for the second will be charged at check in. In addition, Wyndham Grand Rainforest, Beach & Resort requires all guests with dogs to sign a waiver upon arrival.
Smoking and Vaping Policy: The Wyndham Grand Rainforest, Beach & Resort is a smoke-free and vaping-free property with designated outdoor smoking areas. At Rio Mar smoking is permitted designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or on balconies. A $500 cleaning fee will apply. Guests will be informed on designated smoking areas upon check in.
Pool rules: Food and drinks are not permitted inside the pools. No coolers or food from outside establishments is permitted. The Quiet Pool is designed for a relaxation zone. No noise, speakers and inflatable raft is allowed.
Dress attire required in the resort lobby area: Cover-ups on top of swimsuits and flip-flops, sandals or tennis.
Airport transportation: Round trip shuttle service is provided to our guests through GSI.

Cancellation Policies
Standard – Individual cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to 4 pm day of arrival to avoid one night charge plus tax.
Special Events – Blackout dates include but are not limited to New Year’s Eve, President’s Weekend, Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, Independence Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Weekend and Christmas.
