Our resort is open for business and our team members are ready to offer a great welcome to you and your families!
Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Fiona on September 17th, 2022. Although regions of the Island were mostly safe, some areas of the center and south suffered the most.
As part of our commitment to Puerto Rico and local communities, we have partnered with ConPRmetidos, a non-profit organization with the mission of creating a stable, productive, and self-sufficient Puerto Rico. After the strike of the hurricane, the organization created FionaReliefPR.com, a fund designated for relief efforts and collecting donations. ConPRmetidos will make sure that trusted community organizations working on the ground will get the funding they need to get the work done.
Fiona Relief
FionaReliefPR.com and your support will provide much-needed emergency relief to families living in these devastated areas, along with ConPRmetidos, they are currently working on:
- Giving grants to trusted, community organizations, to address local emergency and long-term needs.
- Setting up portable energy charging stations and water purification systems through a network of local community centers.
- Providing step-by-step guidance/counseling to local leaders and residents so that they can begin the process of securing FEMA funds.
- Distributing produce from local farmers to help families experiencing food insecurity.
Our Main Purpose
Continue contributing to the revitalization of communities and citizens in Puerto Rico after the strike of Hurricane Fiona while implementing social and purposeful innovation initiatives between Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico and ConPRmetidos. Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico and ConPRmetidos agreement establishes that the funds received from the 5% of the reservations during this period can only be used to support and finance people affected by Hurricane Fiona.
